VCF Academy Programs participants help DANA recovery efforts

The Valencia CF Academy has reached an agreement with A-Champsto use new rebounding walls (RebounderPro) and smart sensors (ROXPro and ROXPro X) at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna to help improve the technique of young footballers through cognitive stimulation and in a more fun way.
These new rebounding walls and smart sensors designed for football are already available to all VCF Academy teams, who are already taking advantage of the versatility of the A-Champs system for different tasks within football training.
"Our technology has, above all, two advantages: the first is that when the players use it, it is like a game, and this is motivating, and the second and most important is the scientific part behind it," explains A-Champs CEO and co-founder Kilian Saekel.
"The system is based on neuroscience because every movement the player makes starts with what he or she perceives through the eyes and ears, and that is exactly what is trained with these sensors and lights," he adds. Perceive, process and react".
As Jordi Hidalgo, the VCF Academy's methodology identity manager, says, the A-Champs system includes both physical and technical-tactical work possibilities.
"It allows us to generate circuits with the players to see their evolution during the year and also to work on the physical aspect with speed tests, even working with players in rehabilitation or rehabilitation processes", says the VCF coach.
After putting the A-Champs system to the test, Jordi Hidalgo explains: "It's a tool supported by software and an app (available for iOS and Android) that allows us to record data and follow the evolution of the player at different stages.
The number of variables it offers makes it possible to measure the level of performance of footballers in these types of tasks and compare the results in each age range".
A-Champs has more than 5 years of experience in developing devices to support the training and development of young athletes in different sports disciplines.
Several top European football clubs -more than 70% of the Premier League teams and more than 30% of the Bundesliga clubs- and some prestigious international academies already have this technology which will now also be used in the VCF Academy, the fourth-best in Europe in the training of players to compete at the elite level, according to the latest report of the CIES Football Observatory.
In short, the incorporation of the A-Champs system into the training of young football players at the VCF Academy will allow them to increase performance with the latest generation of cognitive-motor training, add fun to training with gamification and competition, as well as making decisions based on very complete objective data.
